Steve Barnes from Dudley had non-stop action on peg 10 on Furnace landing 80 carp between 3 and 8 lb.
Alan Cole from Stourbridge had "the best days fishing in my life on Willow Pool". He surface fished 11 mm Furnace Mill Floating Pellet and caught 63 carp between 7 lb and 15 lb.
Rob Taylor from Wolverhampton had a fantastic day on Mill Pool catching Crucians and Tench on corn fished over 4 mm Furnace Feed. He said that he caught fish all day long and had to take his line out of the water just to eat his lunch!
The Sunday open was a little quieter this week than of late but the there was a definite change in the air pressure with it feeling very close and looking like thunder in the morning to a little light rain and strong wind in the afternoon. The evening improved with lots of sunshine and the wind dropped.
There were 21 anglers and they fished Furnace (pegs 1-30) and Mill Pool (pegs 75-94).
