4 and 6 mm feed pellets are fishing better than other baits at the moment with the 6 mm expander or a small cube of meat on the hook. Plumb the depth accurately and fish with the hook bait just tip-toeing on the bottom. To get the fish up in the water adjust your feed pattern and the fish will come up off the bottom to compete for the bait.
