The Sunday afternoon opens got off to a flying start with a personal best for Dave Morris, DLM Tiling, he landed 101 lb 15 oz from peg 74 on Willow Pool to win. 2nd and third were very close with only 6 oz between them!
Chris Bradney, Stevens Tackle, came second with 77 lb 14 oz from peg 81 on Mill Pool and he was followed by Jon West, Furnace Mill, with 77 lb 8 oz which he landed on peg 94.
Dave fished pellet down the margin landing mainly carp to 7 lb. Willow pool like all the pools at Furnace Mill at the moment is on fire. This pool still holds the match record of 255 lb 15 oz which was landed from peg 72 by Paul Cook from Stourport.
