This week the pools had been frozen from Sunday night until Thursday night with fishing available again on Friday. The weekend weather proved to be much milder although still cool in the afternoon. Chris Bradney, Steven's Tackle, won the match with 65 lb 14 oz of carp from the ever popular peg 38 on Mucky Meadow. Although his fish averaged 5 lb he had one that weighed in at 17 lb 6 oz.
Paul Evans, Furnace Mill, came in second with 45 lb 10 oz from peg 47 and Iwan Mills, Robin's Timber, took 3rd place with the best weight off Furnace Pool of 39 lb. Colin Matthews, Furnace Mill, won the silver prize with 22 lb 10 oz from peg 35 on Mucky.|
